Chuckwagon driver Danny Ringuette invited us to join him for dinner at the barns where he and his team of incredible horses and outriders prepared for a night of racing.
The pandemic significantly impacted Chuckwagon racing over the last couple of years. Danny told us by the time he raced at the Calgary Stampede this year, it had been 1089 days since they had last raced in Calgary!
We were thrilled to see the city show up in full force for this iconic annual event. What a comeback!
Even more, we were so excited to spend the evening with our friends and clients who helped us raise funds for our charity Zero Hungry Kids. This incredible charity works to address the challenge of childhood hunger in the city of Calgary, where over 5000 children go to school every day without enough food to eat at home or bring for lunch.
We are so proud of this work and so grateful to those who are helping us solve this problem, one meal at a time.
Our fun day at the Chuckwagon races was a full family affair, with chuckwagon tarp design done by Brent and Heather’s daughter, Hannah Genesis.
Can’t wait for all our friends to join us next year at Stampede! Yahoo!
