By providing a healthy breakfast to kids who may not have one available to them at home, Zero Hungry Kids is helping fill the gaps for families struggling to put food on the table. As the cost of living skyrockets, food banks across Canada are seeing a significant rise in the numbers of people accessing their services.

The Joy Smith Foundation works to eliminate human trafficking by educating and empowering people to understand the risks of this kind of exploitation. Human trafficking is a far more serious issue in Canada than many people may understand. It is a lucrative criminal enterprise that preys upon vulnerable young people. In Canada, the average age of recruitment into forced sex work is 12-14 years old.
The Joy Smith Foundation is the first organization in the country to focus on regionalized resources and services and provides expertise on how to prevent and intervene in situations of human trafficking.
