Calgary Stampede, and you’re invited! Genesis Aviation is so pleased to be attending the Brakeman Foundation 1st annual Chuckwagon Brunch! 

We look forward every year to the 10 days when the city transforms into the wild wild west. We welcome the vibrancy and community these days are full of, but mostly, we look forward to connecting with so many of our clients and friends.

We invite you to join Genesis Aviation at the Brakeman Foundation Chuckwagon Brunch happening 10am, July 9 at Ranchmans. This is a family friendly event so we hope you will bring your kids (or grandkids!) and come on by. This is an opportunity for us to connect with family and friends and celebrate all the good this city has to offer.

There is no charge for this event and you can RSVP to this event by Friday, July 7 to hgenesis@genesisaviation.ca. The brunch will celebrate 2 incredible sporting events. Did you know that the Calgary Stampede is celebrating 100 years of Chuckwagon racing! This uniquely Canadian sport requires the utmost in athleticism and teamwork. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of the chuckwagon drivers over the years and to hear how hard they work and how deeply they care for their horses, is truly inspiring. Keep an eye out for the Genesis Aviation tarp on July 7 at the Chuckwagon races opening night at the Calgary Stampede!

The brunch also proudly supports the Calgary Stampeders, Calgary’s CFL football team. The Stampeders are doing an incredible job revamping the fan experience at games and come and meet some players and alumni and become re-inspired by this iconic Calgary team!

This brunch is in support of the Brakeman’s Zero Hungry Kids charity. They launched this charity 15 years ago to ensure that no kids would go hungry in the city of Calgary. The flagship program, “Fill the Fridge”, is a community-based initiative run 100% by volunteers and funded through exciting and fun-filled events such as this one! In Calgary alone, there are over 5000 kids who go without nutrition every single day. The program focuses on our most vulnerable kids, aged kindergarten to grade 6 and provides an industrial sized fridge full of milk to schools throughout the year. With your generous support we are making a difference, and to-date we are active in 13 schools in 3 different cities, including our 2 newest locations in Red Deer. This milk provides essential nutrition to kids so they can focus on learning instead of their empty stomachs. Genesis Aviation is proud to be connected to this great charity.
