Business aviation veteran Brent Genesis founded Genesis Aviation as a unique response to the needs of private and business aircraft users. Brent has many years of experience with a proven track record as a charter sales leader with some of Canada’s largest business aircraft operators. Having dealt with diverse aircraft fleets, from Turbo Prop aircraft servicing oilfield support, Light to Large Cabin Jets saving precious time for senior oil and gas executives, to Regional Aircraft taking a group of friends on a fishing trip, Brent has experience with a broad range of travel profiles. He has developed and sold in the Fractional Aircraft Ownership market, and energy and mining operators have benefitted from his direction and support through the re-commissioning of their private airstrips.

Brent has coached aircraft owners through the process of having their newly acquired asset sitting on the ground to being fully operational with a suitable management company. This experience has given him a thorough and well-developed understanding of the business aviation marketplace.

Having been a Flight Instructor and Commercial Charter Pilot, Brent is at the forefront of market trends and offerings. Those in need of strategic, professional aviation solutions will benefit from Brent’s dedicated, direct, and discrete approach.

A native Albertan, Brent, his wife and their three children live in the Calgary area. He is the past chair of the Board of Directors for the Calgary International Airport Chapel. Brent is also a committee member for the Calgary Chapter of Ducks Unlimited Canada’s Annual Fundraising Dinner.

Heather has been a part of the Genesis Aviation Team since its inception in 2011. Coming from a Registered Nurse background, she is able to transfer her critical thinking and strong interpersonal skills to the very relational and service driven industry of business aviation.

She enjoys her roles in Finance and as Account Manager. Heather is flexible and friendly and will apply her high level of professional courtesy to her relationship with you. She will create the same strong relationship with you as she enjoys with the staff at Genesis Aviation. Heather is a fundamental part of the family environment you experience at Genesis Aviation.

Out of the office, Heather is a wife and mother of 3 teenagers, and is a partner in Prairie Shadow Weimaraners. Her hobbies are her children and she enjoys helping to coach and cheer them on in their extracurricular activities.

Kent is a trained commercial pilot with a background in economics and computer science. With a mind for safety and a detail-oriented approach, he will ensure that each one of your specific needs are met. Kent is a dedicated problem solver and he will work hard to make sure you are getting the best option available. Kent is also a fast learner and is quick to adapt to any situation or changes in the market.

Dawna-Rae has been an integral part of our flight coordination department for the past 9 years. She will apply her attention to detail and administrative skills (not to mention her charm and wit) to ensure you are well taken care of. Having recently moved to Southern Alberta, Dawna-Rae, is living the heartbeat of our small town and enjoying being part of her small community. When not carefully planning your flights, Dawna-Rae enjoys hiking with her husband, relaxing with a good book and being mom to 3 great kids.
